Sponsored Family Support Fund
Since 2018, STP International has constructed four villages in the Tharparkar area. More than one hundred houses have been built, and 500 people have been rehoused. There are 200 women and children in this group.
Your support is needed to maintain the building and equipment for the household. The annual maintenance cost to support the communal water storage tank, solar invested fan and electric bulb is 10% of the construction cost, estimated at $300 per household.
Sponsor a Child – $1/day
Child sponsorship is the most personal, effective way to fight poverty. When you sponsor a child, you build a special relationship that encourages them with hope for the future. Your annual sponsorship donation of $360 or $30 a month joins forces with other sponsors’ donations to lift your sponsored child and their community out of poverty for good.
Free Friday Lunch & Ramadan Meals Fund
Everybody is entitled to have food and water, and we would like to help everyone! With that mission in mind, the SSK Jamia Masjid, for the past year, has been providing a free hot meal every week. Every Friday after the Jumah prayers, free meals are provided and run throughout the year.
A free iftar and sehri meals program starts during Ramadan and runs daily during the whole month.
Masjids Maintenance Fund
The STP International has constructed four masjids and the state-of-the-art Jamia Masjid. We run exclusively on donations from our valued members. We rely on you to help cover our $1,500 monthly maintenance costs for these masjids. Please help us keep the lights on and the masjid doors open.
Monthly expenses of all masjids include:
- Imams’ Wages & Compensation
- A Lady Coordinator for the Ladies Center at the Jamia Masjid
- Cleaning Services & Supplies
- Building Maintenance
- Equipment Maintenance
- Utilities such as Electric & internet
